Best Brocoli you have ever tasted

Roast the florets of broccoli in olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic until slightly brown

Ingredients:

2 large bunches of broccoli
5 tablespoons olive oil,
1 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt,
1/2 tablespoons fresh ground pepper
4 cloves of garlic

For the dressing:
1.5 tablespoons olive oil (optional)
1 lemon
3 tablespoons toasted pine nuts
1/3 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons of julienned basilic
(or two teaspoonful of home-made or commercially made pesto)


Method:
Wash and dry them broccoli THOROUGHLY.

Put the broccoli on a cookie sheet and toss with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Now peel and slice the garalic and toss this in too.

Roast in the oven 20 to 25 minutes, until ?crisp-tender and the tips of some of the florets are browned.

You won?t miss it: the magic combo of the crispy broccoli, the garlic, the lemon and the cheese will make this the best broccoli of your life.
