Local Support is your first option

Hi Paul,
There is a lot of advice on this website. Go to the following pages - follow the navigation in the left hand columns.

Under Anti-aging strategies try investigating the sections Lose Weight and Eat well. These are very good starting points. More info in the section Smart Habits - pertinently the pages on losing bellyfat.

You haven't given me much to go on and i do not know your circumstances. It is a struggle to lose weight on your own. You should first and foremost visit your doctor to make sure there is no underlying cause for your weight gain and to make sure that the extra weight is not having side effects like pre-diabetes or high blood pressure.
If you go to Prevent Disease and look at the far right column you will find links to these pages.

The advice on age-well is not supposed to replace the advice of doctors or health specialists, but complements it. Readers who have had similar problems can give you encouragement as i can (i have been there myself. However we don't know your circumstances and we are not present. You might decide that going to a self-help group like weight-watchers can be helpful. There are also schemes run by hospitals for people who are obese. Your doctor can best advise you about local programs.

Contact me again once you have read the information in this site and if you want to share more information with me, I might be able to give you better and more targeted information
