Get support if you want to succeed

If you want to lose weight, you have to make important changes in your diet and lifestyle. The best way to succeed is to join a self-help group or get the support of a friend or nutritionalist, or a family member.If possible get someone on board who knows about nutrition or a therapist who knows about changing behaviour. Nearly everyone who is successful in losing weight works with a coach or has joined a help group.

Weight Watchers is the best known support group which started in New York in the 60s and is now worldwide. Weight Watchers has been able to help millions of people lose weight. But whatever you do - get help - join a group. Then choose a sensible diet and stick to it.
